The Jakebe Construction team attended Stourbridge Junction following reports of minor leaks and damp affecting the station building.
Investigations identified that surrounding trees were overshading the structure, with guttering obstructed by leaf build-up, restricting water flow.
Completed works include:
Cutting back surrounding trees to reduce overshading
Clearing gutters of leaves and debris
Clearing surrounding areas to ensure effective drainage
Gutters left fully flowing on completion
A great effort by Dave & Andy at Stourbridge Junction, resolving the issue efficiently and helping to prevent further water ingress and ongoing damp-related problems.
